Art Spectrum Damar Crystals 500g
This Resin is insoluble in water but can be dissolved in liquids such as oils, alcohol, turpentine etc. Damar Varnish for artist use is made by dissolving the natural resin crystals in Gum Turpentine. Add to mediums to create optical depth and transparency. Use as a traditional picture varnish for oil painting. Damar Varnish is easily removed but has a slight tendency toward yellowing and embrittling with age.
