Atelier Moulding Paste is a very thick paste made from calcite grit used for exaggerated structure & textural effects in acrylic painting, and grounds prior to painting. Mix with acrylic paint to increase body or apply directly on top of paint layer for textural effects. Can be painted onto the prepared surface to create textures before other acrylic paints are applied.
- When mixed with paint, it will reduce colour intensity and gloss levels.
- Dries white with a matte finish and remains flexible.
- May be added to acrylic paints as an economical paint extender.
- For more textured effects, sawdust, sand, etc. may be added.
